Managing Partner
35+ years in financial technology
Dave Evans brings more than 35 years of financial technology experience, spanning futures systems development, enterprise architecture, and software business leadership. His career includes futures technology roles at Dean Witter Reynolds and Carr Futures, followed by leadership as CEO of WTD Consulting and consulting work with FFastFill/ION.
As co-founder of React Consulting Services, Dave architected BASIS, its futures clearing platform. Clear Street acquired React and BASIS in 2023, after which he served as Managing Director and continued engineering the real-time clearing system. At em3, he brings that combination of industry knowledge and hands-on engineering to Meridian and custom technology solutions for cleared derivatives firms.

35+ years in futures systems and consulting
Patrick Mayo brings more than 30 years of experience in futures systems, consulting services, and financial technology leadership. His background includes GMI and SunGard Futures Systems, where his roles included Director of Consulting Services, followed by more than a decade as President of WTD Consulting.
Following WTD’s transition into FFastFill, Patrick served as Managing Director of Consulting Services within FFastFill/ION. He later co-founded React Consulting Services, whose BASIS futures clearing platform was acquired by Clear Street in 2023, and joined Clear Street Technology as Managing Director. At em3, he brings extensive consulting and clearing systems experience to client engagements, helping shape practical solutions around each firm’s operational requirements.
